How to extract the audio from any video file





To extract means to obtain something from a source, usually by separating it from another material. The material in this our case is a video.
Most people don’t know this but you can actually extract the audio (mp3) file from any video file you have on your computer, all you need is a computer and the right software.
 
So if you are among those that go around asking their friends to transfer to them the audio of a file of which you already have the video on your personal computer then this post is for you.  

CONVERTING MP4 TO MP3


First of all download free video to mp3 converter. And install it on your computer.
Now whenever you want to extract the audio file of any video in your computer be it a music, comedy or tutorial video, all you need do is launch the video to mp3 converter.

Now go to the ‘add files’ option, click on it and go to the folder where the video is located. Now click on the video to add it. (you can add more than two video file).
Another way to do this is to drag and drop the video into the software.

Next step is to create an output folder (where the videos would be saved). To do this, minimize the converter program and go to your music folder now create a new folder where you are going to be storing your extracted files’ you can name this folder “extracted audio”. After doing this, go back to the converter program and click on 'choose output folder'.


Now go to your music folder and select the folder you created “extracted audio”.
After doing this, the next step would be to tag the soon to be converted file. To do this, go to TAG
 

And edit the title artist, album, year, genre and even comment on the the file, you can also choose an artwork for the file. After doing this click on ok and then convert.
