1. Your computer does not have enough of free hard drive space.

 Here all you need so is delete some of those old movies, songs, pictures and also uninstall software’s that you rarely use in your system. and also empty your recycle bin

2. Your PC requires a memory (RAM) upgrade.

When you use a small ram sized computer for heavy projects such as autocard etc, it tends to slow down your computer. so to remedy this all you need do is take your system to a technician for a ram upgrade.

3. Your computer has been running for a long time.

Using your computer for a long period of time without a reboot overworks the processor and an overworked processor amongst other things slows down a computer. to remedy this all you need do is Shutdown your computer and let it rest for sometime before you use it again.

4. Too many applications running at the same time.

When too many applications are running at the same time it slows down your computer, to remedy this all you need to do is Close those applications that are not in use.

5. Your computer is infected with a virus or malware.

 All you need do here is install a reliable antivirus and do a thorough scan of your pc

6. There are outdated drivers.

 Connect your system to the internet and update those drivers that are outdated.
 

7. Your version of Windows (or other platform you may be using) is not genuine

 Reinstall a new windows (or any other platform you may be using) this time make sure it is genuine.

8. Computer or processor is overheating

 An overheating processor which is as a result of a faulty fan not only slows down your computer, it can also go ahead and damage something within your computer. it’s best if you go see your technician.
